Join us at Plas Dinam from 7:30pm for a relaxed evening of food, drinks and good company. We'll be providing food and a selection of drinks, but we'd be grateful if you could bring a bottle (or two!) to share.

The ceremony will begin at 2:30pm, with guests invited to arrive from 2:00pm.

For guests staying off-site, please arrange taxis for departure at 12:30am.

We would love to have everyone stay with us at Plas Dinam, but unfortunately there aren't enough rooms for all the wonderful people we'd like to accommodate. As a result, some guests will need to arrange alternative accommodation nearby.

Gifts

Your presence at our wedding is truly the greatest gift we could ask for. We know that many of you will be travelling, taking time away from home, and spending both time and money to celebrate with us, and we are incredibly grateful for that. For that reason, we do not expect or want any gifts.

However, if you would really like to give something, we would be delighted to receive a contribution towards our honeymoon. More than anything, we're looking forward to creating some special memories together as we begin married life.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • As Plas Dinam is an exclusive-use, self-catered venue rather than a hotel, catering and hospitality work a little differently from what you might normally expect.

    We'll be providing the majority of food and drinks throughout the weekend, so you can relax and enjoy the celebrations. If there's anything specific you'd like to have during your stay, you're very welcome to bring it along and make use of the shared kitchen facilities.

  • Yes, there is space to park at the venue, however, we do ask that you share lifts where possible.

  • While we absolutely adore your little ones, we have decided to make our wedding a child-free celebration. We hope this gives everyone the opportunity to relax, let their hair down and enjoy a weekend of celebrating with us.

  • For our Friday welcome event we will provide a selection of drinks, however, we do ask that you bring a contribution to the evening.

    For our wedding day, we will provide drinks until 7pm when a bar opens.

  • For our welcome evening on Friday, there's no formal dress code. Please come in whatever you feel comfortable wearing and ready to enjoy a relaxed evening with friends and family.

    For the wedding day itself, we kindly ask guests to dress in formal attire as we celebrate the occasion together. We can't wait to see everyone looking their best!

    We're hoping to hold our ceremony outdoors, making the most of the beautiful surroundings. As we'll be celebrating in April, the weather can be a little unpredictable, so we recommend bringing a jacket, wrap, or light layer to keep comfortable if needed.

    If you are staying offsite, you will need to book taxis for no later than 10.30 on Friday, and 12.30am on our wedding evening.

  • By car: A470 between Llanidloes and Newtown, Plas Dinam is situated north of the village of Llandinam.  If you are travelling north the turning is on the right hand side, if you are travelling south, the turning is on the left.  There are two stone pillars engraved with 'Plas Dinam', at the entrance.

    By train: Transport for Wales train from Birmingham to Aberystwyth stops at Caersws, which is 2.2 miles from Plas Dinam. This train is also a great connection from Birmingham International Airport for guests arriving by plane.
